also for driving points , or Led ligts )  and a Can Pan ( for switching and led&#8217;s, ie Panel control) , with test board on top ,Showing  switches and led&#8217;s .A relay board is also shown for <strong>This test board has a Can USB ( for initial programming). The  LH board is the one that is used to detect trains on the  track  ( 8 inputs possible ), we have 4 of these modules on the layout , This board sends its signal to a Can VInp board, 2 boards used on layout, this board is capable of taking 16 inputs  , ( this board convert the signal to a CBUS message ) and supplies this message to a CanVout board,  which will put an LED &#8216;on&#8217; on the control panel  to indicate a train on the track ) . We plan to use this configuartion as it reduces the number of wires ,  only 2 bus wires , giving us 32 different signals,The bus wires are already going into the panel to give us point control .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Modules used on Layout     4 x TOTI modules 8 outputs  , 2 x CanVInp modules 16 inputs each  ,2 x CanVout modules, 16 outputs for each module <\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have a model railway interest in N and OO gauge but also the electronics side.
