Bury St. Edmunds Model Railway Club

It is with regret that Bury St Edmunds Model Railway Club has had to suspend their weekly meetings for the foreseeable future. When the restrictions on gatherings and “self isolation” are lifted then we will change this notice to reflect that.

Should you need to contact any of the committee, then please use the contact details here.

Please stay healthy and safe.

2020 Annual Model Railway Exhibition

Unfortunately due to the uncertainty of the duration of the Convid-19 (Corona Virus), the lockdown and it's ramifications for all concerned, we have reluctantly made the decision that the best course of action is to cancel this year's exhibition.

The good news is that we shall be holding our exhibition in 2021 and its provisional date is Saturday 25th September.

Watch this space for more details.

Welcome to the Bury St Edmund's Model Railway Club

All model railway enthusiasts, of all levels and interests are most welcome.

Club Nights are held weekly on Thursdays between 7.30pm and 10.30pm and Tuesdays (by arrangement).

We are proud that our club celebrated its 70th Anniversary in 2019.

The Club was inaugurated in March 1949 as a model engineering society and has gone from strength to strength, currently boasting a membership of some 40 souls.

By way of celebrations, we had a fantastic day at the North Norfolk Railway and held our biggest (thus far) annual model railway exhibition
